KYLE CRANE
Now escaped and driven by revenge, Crane navigates a broken valley, seeking alliances while battling the internal beast within.
After captivity, Kyle Crane emerges into Castor Woods with new abilities and unfinished business. The standalone adventure connects to his earlier story, while remaining playable without installing the first game.
Part survivor. Part monster.
Driven by revenge, Crane returns to confront the man who destroyed his life while struggling to control the beast growing inside him.
Kyle Crane returns to a new environment where survival and the changes to his body are at the center of the story. The Beast is a standalone game, not DLC for Dying Light 2.
The close-range fighting rewards awareness of enemy position, space and the abilities available to Crane. Learn the timing of a new move before relying on it under pressure.
The familiar day-and-night contrast returns. Survey a route in daylight, identify shelter and manage supplies before deliberately taking on nighttime threats.
Castor Woods combines on-foot movement with travel across more open terrain. Make deliberate route choices and check your surroundings before attempting long shortcuts.
Playing with friends changes the pace of exploration. Make sure the group is using compatible updates and understand the session’s progression rules.
